Temp Air cooler

hey guys,

I'm looking to get two temporary air coolers for my SR2 until i water cool around summer time so i'm not looking to spend much

Not looking to spend much so I was thinking the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO which is around £26, anyone had experience with this cooler? or if there are others, feel free to mention them.

I will probably purchase them on Friday or next week.

The Hyper 212 Eo will be more than fine. I was running a 212+ for a while and temps were really good. Kept my CPU below 70 @ full load.

Thanks guys, the Xeons wll be kept stock for now so temps should be good with these

I'm looking to get some case fans, i've looked at the following:

*Bitfenix Spectre Pro All white 120mm

*Corsair AF120 quiet editions

*Enermax cluster 120mm white LED

*SilverStone Air Penetrator 120mm Fan White LED

The enermax and bitfenix would match the case nicely but would also consider the other two. Maybe even use voltage reducers to drop noise level.

What are your thoughts on these 4 fans?

The "*Corsair AF120 quiet editions" IIRC Tom uses those as well ,
and then they can't be bad at all........plus i see those all over the place........

meaning, i have no personal experience with them...

on the cheap, the 212 series are the "bang-for-buck" value HSF. and for diff
fans the SP120 fans the deal.

Most likely going to order 2 double packs of the AF120 quiet editions this Friday, in time for the case when it arrives

Ordered two Coolermaster hyper 212 evo's and 2 double packs of Corsair AF120 quiet editions, will be here tomorrow so i can finally start my build, on air for now with watercooling around Q2/Q3 2012
