Heya.
I've had my fun with my 7970's in crossfire now, but I want to opt for a single-card solution again, but want to retain as much power as I can.
The room my computer is in has a much higher ambient temperature than the other rooms in my house unfortunately, and last year when crossfiring in the summer, I had to ramp up all fans in my system to keep the temperatures at a reasonable level. This lead local authorities to believe that my house was some sort of military aircraft factory in disguise. *zing
I'm wondering if swapping out my 7970's for a r9 295x2 will alleviate enough temperature that I wont have to run all fans on 100%, thus a quieter experience this summer.
I've never had a 2-in-1 chip gpu before so I'm clueless.
Other options and advice is more than welcome.
Thanks in advance!
