Is this game any good? 
I'm not sure whether to get it or wait for c+c3 to come out. Also the demo is over 1gb so don't want to bother downloading it.
I'm also looking at getting "Warhammer 40,000: Dawn Of War Anthology" instead, but not sure
Or even "Battlefield 2 - Deluxe Pack"

I just looked at some screenshots of Supreme Commander and it doesn't look as good as I first thought. It also seems a bit too involved and the scale is mental.
I really like RTS's like starcraft/warcraft tbh
also command & conquer was good. I still sometimes play on warcraft3
I might get the warhammer pack tho as it seems quite good value for money.
Also I've not heard much good about Battlefield2 seems a bit buggy and I don't like the idea of getting into vehicles etc. Simple FPS is good enough without messing it up with that.

BattleField2 bored me, Because of the silo captureing..
I love BattleField2142 because of the new titan game mode. AWESOME FUN!
BattleField finally got a point!
And trust me the vehicles are fun and you will get used to them!

I've never really got into the whole vehicle thing. I tried bf1942 and got bored of it and it's really annoying on UT2k3/2k4 aswell
I'd sooner play something that is solely FPS.
Altho Savage was quite cool for a while
FPS+RTS with 1 RTS commander. I think that could work on a larger scale.

COH is bloody awesome! I love the destructive buildings and stuff!
Best RTS of all time is Starcraft hands down. Never really got into Warcraft even though thats good too. COH is amazing with the graphics but its hard. BF1942 was ik, but Desert Combat was awesome. I love Beefy2 and hate 2142. Me and my friends always play on our own server of Beefy2.
As to the vehicles on UT04. Just play deathmatch or CTF and its a good straight forward FPS. I like to play instagib.

Its just one of those RTS games that just don't work for me
C&C all the way

I was in a iCTF clan for a while, altho I liked DM. But I didn't spend much time playing it due to quake3 leagues. I also thought it was a bit noobified with the rocket launcher that fired 3 homing rockets etc.
I had loads of people call me a cheat whenever I played on public DM aswell. Also wtf was on with the side jumping thing, messed up my quake3 for a while after playing as I kept double clicking the strafe buttons lol.
