Right, I sorry but I really don't like Vista.. :(

I have just given my key to my dad and now going back to XP...

WHY! They changed everything that didn't need chnaging.. :eek:

Yeah, I thought well lets give it a try and I hate it.

It is so unresponsive. :mad:

And Windows "Aero" Didn't want to work.. :sleep:
 
I had vista installed on one HDD and XP on the other. After i installed it i used it 2/3 times in about a month? Then i blew up the HDD with it on so...
 
There are so many things wrong with it.

The new Start menu sucks..

No Outlook... :(

Pointless pretty things.

The only reason I would get it is for HALO 2..
 
I made exactly the same mistake, installed it to early and ended up coming back to XP.

Will reinstall it once there has been reports of improvements.
 
Vista is great imo

The start menu is much better, Windows Mail pwns Outlook, Aero is cool, the sidebar is awesome, the changes to explorer are much welcome, readyboost helps, window switching is much improved, dreamscenes just plain pwns, networking is much tidier (for me) and the whole being able to see your files easier is much better

There are some bad things but hey I'm sure people will start listing what they don't like soon :)

I agree that there are some very intresting additions to vista.. I just found it sluggish.

Im proud to of got it down to 20% of my ram on idle. Not bad eh? :)

But For now, XP is my temple! ;)
 
HAH! 20% I have gotten it down to 19% after a few tweeks :D But i was using vista premium. Ultimate might be a bit harder. I am back on xp now, vista is just to pretty for my liking, i miss the green and blue start bar.

I`m kinda missing whch part of WindowsMail pwns Outlook ?

My networking has to w8 for the slow progress bar to go across the screen b4 I see stuff, on the XP I just click on the workgroup and it popsup.

Explorer interface is severe imo. Pleeeeease tell me how to get `Up` back into the menu-bar.

I`m stuck with aqua color windows - no resolution to that.

Can u scale the sidebar ? It takes up far too much space on meh 15" laptop - some of the things on it are nice to have, even tho I prefer objectdock, but meh.

GET MY HOTMAIL INTO - bah nvm.. oo oo I wonder if u can strip Mail from Vista and d\l OE ??

I dunno, I still gotta hang onto it for a while, I got to be honest tho I`m not impressed £350!

Cant agree any more love vista. I do have XP on another HDD that I bootinto when I want to game
