Stripe size Raid0

I'm putting my raptors as 64kb stripe size in raid0 for gaming mainly, usual other crap too

good stripe size? discuss

i set my raptors as a 128k stripe

what raptors u got? i have 74gb ones

i think 64kb is better for smaller files and the 128k is for bigger files so it depends on the sizes of files u use

i wanted to use 64 but i didnt mess about and dont think my raid set up let me

I think large stripe is typically best for larger files, and generally slightly better performance all round. I run mine on 1MB stripes (benefit of a RAID card), and that seemed to give a good 20-30MB/s speed increase over 128.
