Strange Copy/Paste problem

I have a strange problem that only started up I think at most a month ago. Whenever I try to copy and paste something from a web page to a Word, Word freezes up and I have to end the process. Any ideas?

CAn you system restore? Or your may jsut need to reinstall word.

Can you copy and paste stuff from the web to notepad or like AIM?

Yep, works just fine into Notepad and AIM and such. I'm not going to reinstall until I reformat (should be relatively soon). It's not a huge deal, just kinda annoying.

Edit: strange, just tried again and it worked, though it took a while for the pasting to actually occur... Though after that first one, the rest of my tried worked fine... maybe change my question to any idea why it takes so long for the 1st actual pasting to occur?

Anywho, there is a problem with Word handling u`r clipboard.

*Hmm, tries to remember clipboard stuff in Word* My guess would be down to the clipboard manager thing that Word has, somewhere within it there is a way of listing all u`r clipboard stuff on the side of u`r doc, in a window. It`s probably just the initializing of that.

Perhaps clipboard is set to keep all previous copy's?
