What were previous hdd prices? Namely the western digital green drives.(storage sizes with prices or $/size)

What you would consider as a good deal at the moment?

The 2TB WD Green drives could be had for about £55-60. I think the best bang for buck atm is a 3TB drive for around £140.

I don't know about the greens, but the 2TB blacks were going for just over £100. I got mine for £104.

Yup Green drives were cheap before about £60ish for 2tb, blacks were about £79 for 1tb and 2tb were in the region of the £100 mark. Prices are most likely to remain high for the most part of this year, towards end of 2012, we could see them tumbling before they go to what they were before or close to it. Western Digital's 3tb is the best buy atm, others are expensive and not worth the investment at this moment in time i thinks
