Starter WC - What to choose?

Hello there,

I would like to start my wonders into the water world well prepared. I have a few questions, rather, a few products to choose from and I don't know the differences (even though, yes I did look at specific parts on the internet for reviews)

Here are the two all-in-one kits which I'll be choosing from:

EK Water Blocks EK-KIT H3O Supreme HF 360 EN

XSPC Rasa 750 RX360

And then as their superior competitor I would like to introduce [my] build:

Alphacool NexXxoS UT60 Full Copper 360mm

EK Water Blocks EK- Supreme HF - EN

Laing DDC 12V DDC- 1 Plus

LQT SP- 150

XSPC Laing DDC Acetal TOP

(I know I didn't include fittings and tubes don't worry they are there but it seems wasteful to list every little thing)

Any mistakes I made in that build?

So my questions here are:

1. Which one of those all-in-one kit is better and why? (Performance wise)

2. What is the difference between the better all-in-one kit and "my build" ? (Performance wise)

My PC specs are:

i5 2500k @ 4,7Ghz on air (will try to push more on water - temperatures are my enemy)

P8Z68V-PRO

Gigabyte 570 SOC @ 948 Mhz

Thanks!

I'm going to use Fractal design Core 3000 because, I like it. And I dont mind my radiator and probably even expo being outside of the case (mounted on).

I would chose the EK kit.

The xspc bay-res need 3 slot to fit properly.I have the Fractal arc midi, and i barely fitted the bay-res,only because there is space between chassis and front.

If you only plan to wc the cpu,a thick rx240 rad or thin rs360 is enough.

Havent used EK XT rads,but 47mm thick,a 240 rad should do the job,cooling a 2500k.

EDIT:If you havent bought the case yet,the Arc midi and the xspc rx240 kit fits perfect.

Let's work with what I have right now, please. Thanks kilobravo, so, between those two kits EK wins for me as a Core 3000 user. What about perfomance differences between EK kit and "my build" ? Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply.

Dont think there will be much difference.

But the EK kit comes with all thats needed for a wc-setup.I will suggest though that you buy some 45and90 degree fittings to make it more smooth and easy to fit.

Draw how you want to install the setup. For a first install it will give you a rough idea how to do it.

Better late than never, thanks for the tip and help.
