Slightly higher result this time.

Tbh i'm only wanting to the the RTS camera mode results. The difference is huge.. i went from 33FPS to 8FPS just by switching the camera.

Ok so I tried to run this there and the fans on my cards pretty much stayed at idle. They did go up ever so slightly around 90 seconds in and I was seeing 9 fps in the intense sections.

I don't know if that is suppose to happen but it is far from stressing my system if the fans don't kick in on my gpus.

I'm actually getting quite excited by running this benchmark. ^_^

I absolutely LOVED the Sins Of a Solar Empire games, this looks amazing so far. Too bad that it'll probably be quite a while before it gets released though.

Remember its in Alpha. Give it time. Plus its stresses the CPU more than the GPU as of now anyway.

This benchmark makes me so nostalgic, reminds me the many hours, days, months playing Homeworld, I would really like that a game like that come again for our PC's...

I think gearbox or someone bought the rights to it recently ^_^ they said they wanted to a HD re release then a new game. One of my fave games of all time was homeworld 2.

Woaw glad to hear that, it would be great :)
Homeworld 2 was awesome, but my love stays with the first one, I was crazy when getting in fight with the Kadesh, and spending a lot of time in the last mission but one stealing the huge amount of fregates in order to maximize my fleet xD

Impressive!

It also took my GPU usage to 99% about 97% of the benchmark. On 3d mode, usage was back down to 52% most of the time. I look forward to when they get crossfire working.

Really impressed by the performance's jump :p

Impressive results. :)

Out of curiosity, does the benchmark still drop into single figure frames per second at points?

Installed it yesterday afternoon and wasn't able to get it running.
I presume it's due to my 2P-config since I already had some problems with other games to get it running.
Solution there was to assign the cores manually so only one processor would be used but that doesn't work here.
I get the loading screen and on the display of my g19 afterburner shows gpu-usage for a few seconds but suddenly (and after the same time has passed each try) gpu-usage drops to 0 and I get stuck in the loading screen and have to use the task-manager to kill the process.
Given the fact that it's still early alpha I think I'll wait a bit.
Would have liked to see the results though...

Here is my mantle run iam pretty impressed (my best DX run was 27fps)

Impressive results. :)

Out of curiosity, does the benchmark still drop into single figure frames per second at points?

If it did, it was so fast I did not notice it. But to be far, at six minutes, my attention may have drift while it ran. I think the lowest I seen was 19 in Mantle mode.

Not with Mantle, the benchmark never went below 20 fps, when it goes 4 or 5 fps with DirectX, this is a very huge improvement for my old Phenom!

This is mine after the update
