im doing 3MB/s which is below normal, but not that bad
and previously i found that turning off P2P helped, and it still does help today

just finished the first patch, onto a second of 11000MB at 20MB/s!! ...7ms it says. is my maths failing me?

Well, i'm finally done downloading.
Flying around is already quite good even though i don't like the 300i they gave me instead of my 325a. Performance is frightening, i didn't even play with bots and still i saw drops to 45fps on medium settings. It also seems like the textures got worse (there's definitely something missing inside the 325a).
The FOV is locked now, which is terrible, i only played for like 15m and i already have a headache.
Ah well, it's pre alpha.

Something terrible. Definitely below 70, probably below 60.
Same. The average framerate isn't far off between the settings, about 45 on max settings, 55 on medium settings.

I can fly around in star citizen happily now
. Elite is (at the moment) prettier in my opinion however you can't compare a games that are in different stages of development. They do seem like they are sitting on their hands but that might be down to how star citizen has a much bigger following compared to Elite. The bigger following means they have less room for error without damaging Star Cit's reputation.Getting between 55-63 fps max settingsbut they need to sort out the Hotas as bindings are all over the place
Rig specs? I suppose 290(x)/780(ti)?
