Star Citizen Thread

To soon to say now, but i wouldn't be surprised to not see it on steam for a looong time.

Well I have a SC package I got free with my old 295X2, An AMD themed ship and basic access to arena and such but would prefer it all through 1 games platform instead of it spread out, I already have too much, Steam, Origin, Uplay, Battle.Net, Rockstar and GOG.

I know, same issue with me, but even if it was on steam, you'd still need to login on the launcher, so really, it makes no difference. you can still run the launcher through steam, but i don't even know if the overlay works currently with the game, i have not tried in a while.

Also many more games put a launcher in front of it or require a client, so the thing of having it all on steam is basically pointless now, which sucks balls but on the other hand, i now usually buy games directly from the developer and not have steam take a 30% cut when it's not needed, more money to devs, less to greedy valve, but thats an entirely different topic.

Dark Knight is correct not very likely they will go to steam,I would suggest getting a separate SSD and use that for SC the final game will Probably
be over 100GB so maybe get a 240 thats what I did.

Have a look at the links in my post above"there is "repetition" the scale and tech behind this is where the Money is going and that video is old now, have a look at the vertical slice of Sq42 "still wip" but it shows where it is going.
