I find it really unprofessional that "moderators" just change my sig color and when I change it back, That left a message (in my sig) not to make it red.

Not a big problem but I really think a message would of been better in the first place and a reason why because it have been so since I build my new rig

You are being a bit of a hypocrite here. You could have just sent this to a mod, not post it in the public forum. You are just asking for attention from other forum members, not the mods themselves.

If you expect mods to send a message, then you can be expected to do the same.

Not really and I can't because I don't know who it was and I can't blame someone for something that they did not do. And i'm sure if I wanted attention I wont use such a small thing.

Whatever you say dude. Why does it matter anyway? Either way, you sig would end up without the red.

If I had a better way I would of used it sorry

Theres a majestic thing called a pm. Just forward it to the main mods on the forum.

Errhh.... I can't even change signatures.

Next time you'd be better off PMing a mod/admin and they would give you a decent reply and might actually feel motivated to find out why the colour was changed for you.

I agree it would've been nice if they had messaged you that they changed the signature, but this is a bit uncalled for.

OC3D is very open with Avatars and Sigs tbh and you can get a way with quite a lot, I mean my sig is basically the same size as the header and footer of each page which probably cost some poor tech company a horrific amount of money each month.

I think the mods only ask you be respectful and use an appropriate hierarchy of colours and typefaces without trying to steal all of the vertical real-estate of the forum page so threads still read nicely. At 7 full height lines I would say your on the edge in that respect too, I probably wouldn't poke mods about it ;)

So do you want me to close this? or just disappear it boys? bloody post bumpers! :P

Bold, underlined large o v e r - s p a c e d red writing, in a sig, on a blue forum... = not nice to a dyslexic's eyes.

Unfortunately we can't enforce 'colour rules' via forum setup, so if I spot red in a sig I quietly just turn the colour off, but keep the signature within it's 'design' parameters. I believe I did this to yours, wrote you a PM then my boss asked for me before I hit send to notify you (apologies for that, that was my fault). I forgot about it and must have close the window..

Then I find it a little later changed back... and at that point I just left a note because I was too rushed to bother. (also it's a dab on the tall side.. so I'm being nice as it is)

If something changes, it changes for a reason, we prune links, colours, stupid formatting (people who centre posts, or justify them need shooting at times), overtly-tall, animated or out of place signatures, animated avatars that could set off a mild epileptic and stuff to keep the forum in-keeping with it's design.

We do this passively and quietly so as not to (at times) embarrass, or make people red-faced about it. I, and the other mods, follow this up with a PM usually but as I say, in this case I simply forgot and have other things to attend.

You could quite easily have left this in a PM.. this really, was not, necessary over the colour of a word.
