SSD with HDD best partitioning.

Hello. I have a 240GB Kingston SSD and a 2TB Toshiba HDD. How Should i set them up ? I was thinking about putting my OS and Steam on SSD and everything else on HDD. What size partitions are recommended for the best performance ?

OS and fave games on SSD and rest on HD.

more you documents and so on to the HD, move page file to the HD

lowers the amount of writes to the drive and makes it last longer.

also make sure you change to ACHI mode in your BIOS before installing windows.

Not really that big a difference. My 250gig SSD is in one partition with OS, fav games and programs.

I have my WD green 3TB in two partitions. One 2,5 TB with all my movies, music, photos, games that aren't played that often on. The other partition at 234GB is just an extra backup drive.
