Spring Design Files Lawsuit against Barnes & Noble......

I actualy think that its a pointless product, and the arguments will just help it pass through quickly.

Gotta love the name Nook e-book

"Erm yes I'll take one nook e-book"

"Sir, we're not that kind of shop. Please visit the top shelf of your local newsagents"

Phahaa, nice one Jim.. never fail to put a smile on my face. :)

Having never used one I cannot comment weither they are useless or not but this certainly won't help its sale figures.

Oblivious to any of these e-books even attempting to have a high sales price on them, but I have to admit that consumer-electronics-companies (who u'd assume do some kind of research) reckon they're something worth investing in.

How much would u spend on something that, afaic, u may well have a device that could do it anyway ?

Then again, I don't personally see the market for netbooks. Those who I know have had them find them fall between their phones and laptops, not really filling the gap. But they must sell.

I've got an iPhone, but an ereader really is a different proposition for reading. It really is a device in it's own niche and well worth the investment IMO :)

IIRC, this isn't a patent troll kind of thing. They had actually shown their (almost identical) design to B&N with the idea of collaborating.

I'm looking at getting an e-reader, but I still can't decide which i best for me. I'd get a Nook if it was out over here as it has the best features to date.

The kindle could be so much better, but they're keeping all the good ideas for the next few generations. The Sony ones are nice (and probably the best choice in their price range), but they dont really do it for me.

Which one did you go for Kempez?
