Spraying Mouse and Keyboard....COMPLETED!!!

I had some spare spray paint left over from doing my case and iv always wanted to buy a new mouse and keyboard...sooo...iv decided to spray them.

Its not quite finished yet but bear with me...Just gotta finish doing the mouse and assemble it but hey..should look good.

Heres the things complete...

The mouse once it was gutted...ha ha ha ha. looks ace i think..



I used my Dremel to give the mouse a bit of a key for the paint to stick to. might have sanded a bit too much but hey...it will be fine im sure...



I was originally spraying outside in le shed but it got too cold and dark so i brought it inside. plus the fumes smell great!!!! (just threw a dust sheet over everything and hey presto...it dont matter if paints flying around!! WOOOO!!!)

Iv smoothed the mouse down and resprayed it... looks much better. Just cant be bothered to go through the whole taking pics thing and writing more thing,. cheers bud

nah man. i will do though. its just awkward finding somewhere to get it..not many good shops near here. There are about a good 6 layers on each thing though so it should last a while

And it sounded good to me...didnt think of anything sexual...but hey...a good layer of latex never went a miss i suppose....

Im going to be doing my monitor surrounds soon....prob just matt black

Nice, have just been spraying some of the GH3 controller face plates.

Get my paint from wilko or B&Q. Both have a 21 policy, but most cashiers don't know about it.

Cheers guys....It feels the same so i there isnt really any difference...now iv redone the mouse and got it really smooth its nice...

My mouse is a Saitek GM3200. Its not pretty but its comfy to use. Im going to be selling both of these soon as i want to get a Razer next.

Getting another new case soon too so will also be selling that...

I have never been a fan of spraying things myself, always looks a bit takky in my eyes. Everyone to their own I suppose and it looks like you did a good job.

I only did it out of a pure spontaneous thing. I think it looks ok. Im thinking of more things to do to my comp but im kinda skint and idealess for the minute. lmfao...

I love the setup btw...Glass desks FTW!!! ( only saying that cos mine was cheap from focus . £31.96. COME ON!!!)
