hello all, new member here but been following forums and youtube for years now.
just rebuilt my pc and ive got an interesting issue now that i cant seem to sort out.
my motherboard has onboard gigabit ethernet which if used on its own works perfectly at 1gbit to my western digital my net n750 router running openwrt.
but i also have a second pci based gigabit card in the system aswell (so in theory 2gbit of network connection) and again if just this card is used it connects up at 1gbit perfectly.
but and here comes the problem, if i connect cables to both cards one will connect at 1gbps and one will connect at 100mbps even if i go into both cards settings and force them to 1gbps full duplex. been messing with this for a bit now and im stumped so thought id ask to see if anyone else could come up with ideas,
basic spec of pc otherwise is :
biostar ta790gxb a2+
athlon X2 4600+
4gb ram
radeon hd 6450
win 7 ultimate x64
