Well I have been having some problems getting a decent set of fitting for my wc kit, And it has been doing my head in so I decided to send special tech an email.

Hi guys.

I have brought all my water-cooling parts from you over the months, but one thing is really doing my head in. Every time I try to get a decent set of fittings from you, you never have the one I need. Or you will have 1 manufacturer of fitting for one, And then totally different manufacturer for anougher. It’s really doing my head in now. I just want to cry. I can’t mix and match different manufacturers fitting. IT’S JUST NOT THE DONE THING, you understand right.

I need a mix and match of fitting some straight some 45's and some 90's.

I got all excited a minute ago when I saw that you had those nice EK ones in stock and then found out that you only have the straight fitting for them.

SO I am wondering if you can order me a full matching set.

I need it for 1/4 inch threads. And 7/16 tubing.

I need:

6 X straights

4 X 45 degree

4 X 90 degree

Now really, because you have upset me and made me cry by not having the right fitting for me.

Honestly the tears are rolling down my cheeks as I type...... its disgusting to see a man weep over his pc. The misses has also left me and taken the kids due to me crying over these fittings as well. And to top it all off, because I don’t have any decent fittings whilst taking off one of the crappy black plastic clips off of my barbs it sprung off landed on the floor, My German shepherd ate it and choked to death.

Now After all that would it be possible for you to get me some of those stunning Red anodised Bitspower fittings?

A long shot I know but hey you did kill my dog and make my misses leave me, it the least you could do really

Or if all else fails can you get a set of Bitspower chrome fitting but with red o rings. And if that is a no go as well then the EK compression type ones.

If this is possible could you please please email me with a quote and maybe a reference number so I can phone up and pay over the phone on my card. Thank you.... Now I have to bury the dog.

Right, firstly lets clear one thing up. All I do all day every day is try to order stuff from manufacturers so we have complete ranges but guess what, they are always out of stock of one thing or another. So it is not us, it is distribution and manufacturers that cause these issues. I have been trying for 12 months now to get a full range of Bitspower matt black and silver fittings in, i will keep on trying. I am hoping to do a direct order with Bitspower in January which means it should be looking good by February. In the meantime I will also be re-ordering a load more standard fittings due to come in late next week hopefully! I will particularly concentrate on your request for fittings for 7/16" tube. Bear with us and hopefully you can resurrect your dog, whether you want your missus back is up to you!

You won't find a company more "human" than Specialtech.

Around 18 months ago I was having a bad day. My memory was shot to bits, and I kept ordering something but messing up the payment part.

Their cart system is odd. As you add the item it removes it, and there was only the one left. So every time I screwed it up I had to phone Steve and get it sorted out. He would remove it, I would screw it up again and have to phone back.

We got there in the end, and we had a bloody good laugh along the way

But I've phoned 'other' companies, and they usually just cop the nark and put me off from buying.
