Sound Set-up

I am planning on a new sound set up.

Looking at the HD650's and the Xonar STX.

Could someone tell me if this will be a good set-up. (Not really an audio expert, quite new to all of this)

Also, will I need an amp? Looking at the impedance numbers I don't think so but I need to make sure.

HD650's =

and
Xonar STX = up to 112dB at 600Ohms

Everything will work fine.

You won't need an amp, and they'll perform perfectly.

Asus Xonar Essence STX does have a dedicated headphone amp.

I know it's a bit late for a reply, but I have the Sennheiser HD650 and Zonar STX and they work perfectly together , no amp needed.
