Some issues with my gtx 460 OC2

Hi,

received the gtx 460 today,

did as i was told in the other thread, works fine

sofar i only ran MW2 at full detail, got 60 fps which is the max the game does i think.

after that i gave it a run on 3dmark11, only scored 3260P :S

also my card got 56°hot during 3D mark, there is no bios way of changing cooler settings or anything gpu like (only the integrated gpu)

I also find the nvidia driver crappy compared to the old ati one i had.

so i was just wondering if anyone here knows how i can speed up the fans.

and another thing, when i looked at the results page on 3dmark it said my memory was at 1800Hz i really think that should be 3600

anyway, giving vantage a run now...

EDIT: ran vantage: got 16405 gpu:13786 cpu:38119

cores didn't go + 32°with stock cooler, gpu went to 60 with an ambient of 22° in this room

Those scores look fine mate same counts for the temptures perfectly fine,

you can use MSI afterburner to adjust the fan/clock speeds http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/ linky...

and its x2 (the memory) so do that and you have 3600Mhz

thx for letting me know, still don't like something in my case being 60° tho

edit: ran afterburner, fan was at auto, i put it at 100% didn't hear much difference, temperature went to 24 under full load

it runs at auto but i had put it at 100% to see what it does runs very cold from what i've seen from other people 460

thank you everyone who told be to buy this instead of the 6850

btw, still trying to figure out how to turn of the integrated gpu
