M maz1989 New member Feb 20, 2009 #3 X3 720 is a great cpu for gaming. although if you multi task more than game then go for the x4 920 i think. go for a ddr2 mobo/ram with the phenom 2's if u want ddr3 mobo/ram go for i7.

H Hatman New member Feb 20, 2009 #4 Cheap DDR3 surprisingly has come down in price a lot lately mainly at the 1333mhz speed but still thats an improvment over ddr2. Should be a very overclockable chip
