Phone today on T-Mobile, and i was just wondering how long.. if any the time you have to wait to be connected? Because i can ring people off my phone, but it says i have no allowance but i should have £180 and when someone tries to ring me, it says number is incorrect.. So i was just wondering whether there is like a 24 period before my phone is fully activated, there was when i went to orange, but the guy in the shop today said nothing..

yeh contract, i didnt switch my number. I got a new one. So im still contracted to orange till the end of the month so im not phoneless.

It just wierd, coz everything looks like its working, it says im on t-mobile and i have signal but i cant do anything.

Have you rang them and got it sorted, because my phone didn't work until i rang and confirmed that i had taken possession of it or some such.

After that mine worked straight away, but they said it could take up to 24hours to come into effect. That was orange though.

Some strange things happen.

When I moved to T-Mobile from Orange, right at the beginning international calls often wouldn`t make it through to me - with a message saying to the caller that the owner hadn`t payed the bill yet, or similar.

Worked fully for me tho, not sure how long it all took to settle down.

took 12 hours for my vodafone fone to work correctly, its normal i think

I walked out the t-mobile shop talking on mine.. so about 2 minutes, or how ever long it took for the girl to put the sim/battery in.

Phone 150 and see if its been activated. Had to do that on my misses, it was a web ordered one.
