Snow White 2011 Competition!

Motherboard: Gigabyte (Like the BIOS).

CPU: Intel, but not afraid to go AMD if it's worth it

GPU, was a big ATI/AMD fanboy, but now it's whoever gives the best bang for buck.

I think you should go back to page 119 and you will understand, I think he may have been banned as I have not seen any other post's by him, or he may have swallowed his dummy.

Think he got a good'eidin

I saw his post before the nasty one still there though, so maybe is hidden due to low rating

Sup RealNeil!

I can't say I have a board preference quite yet. Worked with a few enthusiast boards, from ASUS, MSI, and Gigabyte, and I guess it comes down to the bios options for me. I love the MSI overclocking features on my 890fx... nope, no preferance.

Love the quality of intel chips, but usually go AMD ( or build AMD for freinds ) based on the price point. Not a bad thing at all. Lovin my 1090T so... no preference here either

I guess for me it all depends on what the build is designed for

Hey! How goes it LifeSkills? I USED to use MSI all of the time, almost exclusively, but during the bad caps debacle I had two MSI Platinum SLI boards that failed 3 or 4 months into ownership and they wouldn't repair them, blaming my house power or my power supplies. They were expensive, top of the line boards and I could not afford to replace them for a long time. Later on, I learned about more the bad caps situation and realized that it couldn't have been my fault if it was happening to so many other people. So, being anal and all, I never forgot the drubbing they gave me and stopped buying from them. One thing that I do remember about them is the amount of features packed onto their boards for a decent price, but most other manufacturers are doing the same thing nowadays as well.

ASUS and ASRock usually overclock like little demons and I've had zero quality issues with their boards. I just built a AMD system for a friend last night and used a Phenom X2 545 Calisto CPU in it. It's a snappy little dual core setup and with a Radeon HD5850 in it, he's liking it a lot. So yeah, AMD is quite acceptable in my book.
