SMP2 + GPU3 is doing my head in.

What are your configs, flags, cores, physx and idle/low priority settings? I'm either losing about 20k PPD on the SMP2 or 20k PPD on the GPU3 atm. I just can't seem to find a happy balance.
This is a tough one lol. With a 2684 WU and new GPU3 WU's on 460's I'm getting close to not making deadline. Tried various combinations priority/core usage even went as far as editing the core % in the config file and didn't really find any combination that worked.
Set priority back to idle on SMP and GPU and let it run, finished the 2684 and picked up a 2685 after that. On this WU I'm getting from 50 to 53K PPD with the 460's on the new GPU WU's.....So now now I'm not doing anything with that machine except an occasional PPD check in hopes that it will continue to run well.
The CPU usage at 4 to 5% per card is hard to deal with

charlie i set one of my cards as dedicated to physx and it does the same ppd as my other cards

Dragging up an old thread i know but 
Right its been awhile since ive used both gpu & cpu together, last time i did was on XP using the old console clients & never had any problems. Now using V7 with an i5 2500 + GTX 460 (Win 7) im seeing a drop in ppd on the smp side...from what was said above i take it its normal (still?) not a massive drop, say 3k? + if i try to use Firefox talk about lag city :huh:
I know i get a massive drop in ppd on my X6-5870 rig because amd drivers are crap for folding and thats why i only smp on that rig but i wasn't expecting a hit with using an Nvidia card with my i5 as i thought that was a thing of the past?

I am still in the progress of making guides and testing the v7 client (software) never used it ,
so i can see that drop myself , i am using the GPUtracker and i dont get a hit on the SMP score (folding)..
Setup,
win 7, 2x GTX460's, i7 2600K, 16gig memory, overclock 4500Mhz...
I'll try to make(test) them ASAP !!
