Thank you!

My condolences, Remember to get a pre-nup.

Not much she could take unless she wants like $100 lol
Plus she's not like that. We are both very traditional, she's not a modern women in the gold digger age of women.

Congratulations man, that's brilliant news.

Thank you WYP. Love the work plug-in with news :D

Congratulations my friend, absolutely wonderful news! For someone who is single and has been pretty much all life, but still would very much like this in life, I do must admit that I am a bit jealous ^_^ ... But congrats though man!

Haha this was quite funny though  ^_^

I wouldn't mind being single. Growing up that's all I wanted but she changed that. If I'm not with her I would stay single and never get back with another woman.

Congrats man. All the best for the future.

Thanks Alien!

Congratulations old bean

6 years is nothing been with my other half for 24 years still not got married :)

Old bean? Nah mate I'm 22. Been with her since I was 17 and will be 23 pretty soon

24 years and not married? Damn. You must have heard her say those small hints at marriage a billion times. Although after 10 years she probably got over it:D

my Mrs was 17 when we first met I was 27, expected her old man to punch me and throw me out of the house when he found out, but all he said was it's the happiest he's ever seen her

I offered 10 years ago when she was pregnant with our son, she said she's happy how we are marriage is only a bit of paper

Just remember that if either of you ever have any problems to sit down and talk through them, Too many these days choose the easy way out instead of fixing things.

Really good advice Dicey, even though it may seem like common sense to do this, it’s quite surprising how many people actually don’t do this.
It’s such an easy thing to do really, you’ll probably grow togheter and become even closer to each other than you were before as well.

Oh my bad for assuming. Sorry. Well lucky you then because I'd rather stay not married. To much money for what is essentially a big party. But it's what she wants!

We've had less than 3 major arguments over 6 years and all of them were before the halfway point if not even the first 2 years. In fact just asking her neither of us can name exactly what they were just that we know we had issues but ever since the last one we barely argue and when we do it's just small things that are fixable. Honestly we just understand one another so well it's hard to get mad at each other.

Besides that the engangment will probably be 2-3 years. So we will definitely have more than enough time to figure everything out if we do have issues

Take some advice from someone who's been to a fair few weddings, Don't go overboard and spend thousands on the wedding, It's money that will just line the pockets of people that have brainwashed others that thousands of $$$ worth of dresses, Cakes and flowers is somehow worth it, That money could be better spent being put towards a house, Car etc...

Ironically all the weddings I went to that were at a registry office are going strong, The ones that had lavish weddings lasted maybe 1-2 years and then split.

Yes good advice. That's the plan, save the money for a house:)

It wasn't an intentional plug, just a happy accident. I hope you guys have a great time being engaged and have a good wedding.

Lol gotcha, thank you anyways bud! It's going great so far!:)

There are benefits for being married in the USA. Tax is lower, and healthcare covers you both (well, it does in NJ). Good that people are rewarded for it, and not punished like they are in the UK. My ex and I got screwed for getting married..

Had a right result tonight. I sold the block from my Titan XP and the Fury X, so I had to go home in a taxi and back to collect the packing (cost me £30 !!!!). Any way, I find this old Hilfiger sports bag I've had since 1995 and there are my "lost" sunglasses. Prescription, glass lenses, extra dark tint they cost a friggin fortune. No more squinting for me :D

I would have got them replaced, but it's a major pain. You gotta have an eye exam, get air puffed into your sodding eyeballs then get screwed because you want real glass lenses and the extra dark tint. They ain't bloody cheap !!

The biggest disadvantage Alien is the man always gets screwed in divorce

Wouldn't know mate, wasn't there pmsl. My ex did manage to track me down (some one stabbed me in the back) and a state trooper served me the papers but I took flight about 6 days later and came home to the UK.

Turned out to bite me in the ass, though. When I wanted to marry my second wife of course I had no papers nothing. So I had to phone the tiny p1ssant little town we got married in and get them to send me a final decree or whatever they call it. Now that was a PITA. Trying to explain that I buggered off 8 years ago but can you find out if it all went through and send me proof lmao. Mind you we did laugh (the lady over there and I).

Wow, Shadow of the Tomb Raider looks incrediballs. Seriously amazed.

I didn't think I was going to like it, but it plays just like the original so far. None of this crafting bolacks, just get down to the action. The only thing I don't like is MDS is back in force (multiple death syndrome). IE - for the most part you need to die about ten times to figure out what you are supposed to do. I wish games wouldn't do that. Like, lead you down a path that collapses, knowing that for 100% you are never ever going to do it first time, every time. Like, you have to die just to figure it out. That's stupid that is.

And annoying as hell... This has made me quite few games in the past as just couldn’t be bothered with it. It kinda ruins the game in my opinion.

It's fun once or twice, but after ten times? yeah, then it begins to grate. I didn't exactly rage quit but I'd had enough by that point (about 1.5 hours in). It's a shame, because I would like to have played that all night. Instead I could feel me getting close to getting annoyed so turned it off.

In other news the postman came today. Quite the bounty. I got my PCIE Xonar ST, my new Blackberry (Special Delivery before 1) and the case for the BB. I still haven't got the bloody thermal paste :( I've been waiting days for it.

Still, I will get around to sorting the Blackberry later. So happy with it though. It's definitely brand spanking new as promised. So cheap too for such a high end phone :D

looks awesome man. When I get back home all I have to do is clean down my two desks, then I can get to setting up all the crap I bought over the past two months lol.

Cool, Post pics :)

I love lights though, I even got a 16 foot long RGB LED strip with RF remote control for the rear of my desk, I don't understand the hate behind RGB, Choose a colour, Make it your own and have some nice light ^_^

Yeah, will do dude. I will actually be armed with a top end camera too, so hopefully can get some decent night shots. Right now at home I don't even have a PC set up. So that will give me a shove to get it done and finished. I need to make two more little panels for it out of acrylic, then I can declare it 100% finished. And then I will be gaming loads, as I have been over the past couple of weeks.
