Should be fine, Steam CS just needs to stamp it instead of the automated process.
Still a bit daft compared to downloading directly before launching the game. Just creating more work for nothing.

There's an arrow at the top of screen mouse over it opens and all the info is there

under general options there's a camera option to hold or Toggle

not had any crashes so far
Huh, I'm far too used to the keyboard commands which is probably why I never saw that. I just used the mouse to pan the camera and operate the cockpit. I'll take a look once I'm home from work.

I should have worded the second one better, but what I meant is that it PoV hat would pan the camera around the cockpit and hold it rather than being locked to straight left or right. A lot of it is adjusting from 15 years of playing the older Flight Sims so the complaints will die off over time. Like I said. It's first impressions, but this interface is a hell of a lot different from the older FS and doesn't feel as intuitive to me.

Lucky you, haha! One that happens everytime for me is when I complete one lesson and choose to move onto the next, the game just crashes straight to desktop.

They're making sure it's uniform between different stores. It will have plenty of paid addons, and fragmenting that market would suck.

Got my Pixel 4a yesterday, a day before it went live on the stores :D

Bad news is I was literally busy from sunrise to nearly to midnight. So had no chance get a head start.

Spent all day today however setting it up. Takes forever even when Google tranafers all the data.

I will say though the 4a is faster than my old Pixel 2XL. It's more responsive, battery life is hard to judge but was on it for hours today and it seemed better than my 2 would have done. Storage is at least 2x faster. It updates/installs apps far quicker.

My only complaint so far is screen size. Coming from a 2XL 6inch screen, it's crazy how much more screen space it is than my new 5.8in. I was shocked at the difference.

Still not a big deal. It's smaller and far lighter. So I can live with it

Overall I give the phone a 9/10 coming from a 2XL. A $350 mid-range phone beating a 3 year old flagsh that was double the price. Pretty impressive imo.

Logged onto Facebook, I only use it to keep in touch easily with family members, Tell them to jump onto Skype or Discord, I don't comment on anything, No personal information etc... but I do like to read some of the articles linked to pages I have liked i.e AMD, Nvidia etc...

I noticed AMD put up a post of their new driver and underneath I saw the comments were getting a little odd, A lot of the comments followed a certain formula -

"don't buy amd graphics they are bad and drivers are bad buy nvidia they are best".

Out of curiosity I went over older AMD posts and the comments, Just a handful on each of these AMD posts, All seem to be around the same, Makes me wonder if these people are paid or Nvidia's mindshare is so strong these people devote actual time to go onto social media to and type this garbage out.

People actually go and post those things. If it isn't on Facebook it doesn't exist. It is scarry how many people live their lives only on social media.

How have I not thought about getting these before? Absolutely perfect for my vertical GPU. Since I dont want cables showing at all, I dont even need to worry about braided cables.

This is amazing. I have only seen EVGA one and that one is too lumpy.

From where?

moddiy.com

When you order. Make sure you get the right one. There are two types depending on your GPU connectors because some are standard orientation and some are inverted, so you need to get the 180 to go the right way.

Was talking to my tech obsessed uncle a few minutes ago and he said he watched the Nvidia presentation and is getting a 3090 to replace his RTX Titan, If I help him with moving next summer he'll get me 1 as payment, While that is pretty awesome I have to wait and see what AMD are releasing, Likely won't be as good as the 3090 so near summer, Around May, I may have a 3090 :D

Nice. That is one very generous uncle.

Yesterday was a nightmare. A total nightmare.

I had several things to do in one day. I don't like that. My anxiety can only handle so much, but there was no getting out of it. I had a visit from my care worker, which is sometimes really nice but when I don't want to see any one it's actually really hard. I've been a bit paranoid lately and feel like I have to clean the crap out of my flat because I am being spied on. Which isn't the case at all.

Any way, I also had a phone appt with my psychiatrist (haven't heard from them since last October). I decided I was going to go back on my anti psychotics. I've been getting a little spiky lately and a bit sharp. I mean, it's nice to have my brain going full speed ahead but it was getting a bit out of control. Summer is over, I can kick back and chill now winter is coming.

Then I had my shopping coming. Which may not sound particularly stressful but when you live up 8 lots of stairs and they refuse to help because of Covid (I swear it is an excuse for people to be even lazier) it's hard work. Last time I gassed as I was simply carrying far too much (two weeks shopping including 8 litres of milk, 3 litres of other drinks and so on).

So I got the support worker bit done. Pysch called, didn't listen to what I was saying as usual and my support worker had to set her straight (I swear none of them listen). So that should be sorted and I should be back on Seroquel within a week.

Then mum called. She had a bad fall. So bad she cut her leg open and had to have stitches, and had to be taken to hospital in an ambulance because she couldn't get up. So now I got all of that on my mind knowing I am stuck here because of the shopping.

That is why I took a handful of Diazepam yesterday and failed to even notice that the GPU I bought had the power connectors on the end FFS. Huge thank you to Goggles (haha that is so apt) because if he hadn't spotted that I would not have realised until I came to fit the block, and with my mental state being the way it is I would have likely smashed it up LOL. At least now I have had the chance to make sure the block I have will fit with some modding, and don't have to cancel the ebay order and so on.

Had a good sleep last night. God I needed it. If I have to get up for any reason at all, no matter how many sleep pills I take I will wake up every single hour or so and panic and then look at the clock. I swear even in sleep my brain never rests. I got about 5 hours sleep before yesterday happened.

Still, ever onward and upward eh. Looking forward to upgrading Time Sync with a 2080Ti (has a 2070 now). That will go into my bedroom and connect up to the 55" 4k tv. It's nothing special but the rig should be good enough. I forgot how many SSDs were in that bloody thing until a few days back. There is about 8 LOL. It's far too good to be left to rot tbh.

So, with bikes all done for the year it's back on the tech stuff.

With the announcement of the 3080, I've got my heard set on one and with the 2000 series prices plummeting I've decided not to sell and that it is time for my daughter to have her first PC.

What CPU/Mobo and RAM would you guys recommend to compliment a 2080 to ensure there are no bottlenecks? I'm looking for a cheaper option at the moment until my daughter grows up.
