Yea it's the frame gen i'm intrested in with FSR3 and it working in HypR RX but on 6k series if it doesn't happen i will be upgrading, things are always want vs need and atm there is kinda a need for certain things but amd may just need more time with HypR RX to get it to work across older cards but my feeling is it's 7k series and tbh a major selling point.
Yea I still think it's good even thou it took them time to shift 6k series on a larger scale the key thing is they have sold them and they clearly have sold a lot more than even I am thinking.
My general feeling with HypR RX is if they get it to work on 6k series that it will not be as good as the 7k series due to how it works and the key reason some games are stronger than others is due to them games using tech that HypR RX uses itself to do the processing.
Still maybe FSR3 will work so well on 6k series and supported that HypR RX won't be as strong a need for me, really depends on a few things, but HypR RX I see as a very big feature more so than many might think really depends on what you enjoy playing and many older games simply do not have the current gen support, this changes that.
We all know why they have taken their time it's clear and from a biz point of view makes total sense and i honestly feel anyone on 6k has no reason to feel bad about the choice as they are very decent cards, for me the 7900XT just isn't of interest but the 7900XTX is more so, but while a kinda tweaked refresh will come next year there won't be a real upgrade on current cards until 2025 so i'm seeing the 7900XTX as a stop gap till 9k series as if they go full chiplet they are going to be extremely strong cards.
I'm looking at spring as I'd like to enjoy Stalker 2 and I honestly feel it'll play like dying light 2 i.e demanding. As dying light 2 and cyberpunk are the only games where i need to mess around with anything.
On a different note an odd thing happened the other week i got a bargain on that 2tb nvme the odd part is a 2nd came in the post guy has said nothing other than he was out of the country and posted when he got home idk i'd even left feedback lol So now i'm looking to get a third off amazon next week and 2 usb enclosures for the old 1tb's bringing me upto 46.25TB total.
Cancelled game pass no matter what i do even uninstalling all apps and games, the 4 games that are basically stuck will not come unstuck, so no starfield for me atm i'll revisit it later when i find an actual solution as i've done everything all the guides i've found and multiple times and na the 4 games are just screwed and the weird thing is when first installed they were totally fine and even with starfield stating it's 100% ready to install it just wont and the other 3 refuse to finish downloading fully, dam app and the way it's tied to other M$ apps is just straight up even more frustrating than EA app and that is saying something, thou true when it works it's decent but i think it'll become an issue for many over time they are going to need to solve it.
