Small cased project

Got this project in mind atm, I believe I have 90% of the goods already, but on the remaining 2/3 specifics, I'm looking for some inputs:

Got plenty of harddrives on the shelf - no issues.

Got "A" 775 cpu, currently a E6850 is lined up, but I may switch for a 9400, 6600 or 6700.

Got 4g of DDR2, well got more but 4 should suffice.

Got some mATX on the way, Jeddy's finalizing that.

Got either a DVDRW or Bluray to use.

Thinking about a case mainly - not too much of this nature about, and it's the key thing here for me. Spotted this cheap'n'cheerful : http://www.ebuyer.com/product/150275

A low profile graphics card. Nothing spectacular. Would settle for 9500GT or similar.

A low profile wireless-G (atleast) - pci card. *think* I may have one in a unit somewhere, but will look around anyway. Atheros based ftw. I may even get an internal usb one and hack a proper antenna on it.

Deal for this computer is hopefully a quad boot (XP, Vista, Linux, OSx86), and be nice and portable - even to the extent of going in a suitcase. That would be awesome.

Any linkage to the above quandries would be valued.

Funny enough that was one of the ones I looked at, but settled on the ones above cos of the dimensions.

Dimensions not being 100% accurate, it turned out to be 42cm deep, but fortunately (if u follow back to the sellers homepage) they have embedded videos of a guy demonstrating the cases they sell - including a tape measure!

Couldn't quite believe that tbh, it's freakin great idea.

Next is to learn some lessons on photography cos frankly I got a number of things to post about, but seem to be getting pretty crap results from a 1/2 decent 6.3mp camera.

Outside it's great, inside and all the grains come out !

Grrr GRAINS! Just take a pic and photoshop it man. You can get rid of the problems in a couple of mins.

Seems pretty decent for what you paid. I wonder how good the PSU is though?

Yeah the only real consideration long term.

It's badged ezcool, and looking at some other elcheapo cases with free psus, they have ezcools too sometimes.

hehe it isn't gonna be required to do anything too strenuous. Worse case will be a 9800gt low profile, which I'm not sure has a power connector at the back.

That's fair enough, though when it goes is that a standard size? Saying that, the cost of the case+PSU wasn't exactly prohibitive.

There's an led type strip that runs across the from, central about 4 inches long.

Now it's meant for being a "ON" light and just molexes into the power. It's arranged like a cathode tube.

Do we think it'd be too white-trash to make it a harddrive indicator ? Dunno that the led-hd will produce enough power for it. I "could" make the led-hd +ve as the molex's negative and have the led fade as the drive is used. That could be kinda kewl.
