SLI 680's vs GTX 780/ti

I was wondering what you guys think about buying SLI 680's at this current point in time. 2nd hand one could be picked up cheaply and I was wondering whether it would give me some beady fps in BF4 Ultra sets ofc.
I'm tight on cash so it'd be the obvious choice, however I'd like a second opinion.

P.s. I already have a Gigabyte 680 in my system...

680 SLI will put you above a 780 and stock 780ti. Though as you seen a 780ti OC'ed becomes on par or slightly better than dual cards.

If you can sell your current card and put that money along with the money you already have, you may be able to buy a 780ti. IMO that would be the smarter route. Consumes less power and less cabling = Win.

I do a fair bit of CUDA enabled rendering, so I was wondering...
780Ti = 2880 Cores
SLI GTX 680 = 3,072 Cores

Few more at my disposal, although neigh much...

780ti. Can overclock it and also have more vram to enable higher quality renders.
