Hey guys,

im looking to sleeve my power supply.

I know there are many ways to do it, different tool that can be used.

But what is the best way to cut the perfect length of sleeving, best way of shrinking the heat shrink so that it grips the wire and sleeving very tight etc?

if you have any pictures, please include them as they would be a great help.

The pics have gone from both guides but you might be able to get some tips from reading it.

I'm no expert at sleeving but for mine I didn't cut then sleeved, I sleeved my cables from the roll, cut at the needed length, cable tie the sleeve down at the end then put heat shrink over it.

For the heat shrink a heat gun works, I have used a lighter before as well although be careful with that as keeping it under the flame for to long can burn the shrink and maybe fizzle the sleeve aswell.

no heat gun? you could try a hair dryer but it will take some time, also be careful of "over shrinking" if you go too far it will split, so make sure you pick the correct diameter tubing for the cable.
