SKY HD Box

I got a Sky HD box i was wondering if i could connect it to my standard tv aerial to get the free channels without subscribing to sky? i dont want to install a dish yet?

Yeah it should be possible. Parents upgraded to the Sky HD and I've got their old Panasonic box (which was only made for Sky) and it's all hooked up to the ariel. I only have freeview channels which are in my available in my area, it'll just prompt you that you need a subscription if you select a paying channel (example: Discovery).

Thats fine then, as long as i dont need a dish to view channels, not to bothered about getting sky atm, only want the extra free channels as freeview is getting boring now
