Single Card or SLI ?

So I am debating whether or not to buy another 670 or to just buy a single 780 ? If i do decide on another 670 I will need to buy a new PSU which is making me lean more towards a single card setup. Anyone know which will be better ? I am open to opinions :D

Thanks, Dario.

Single gets my vote. Might also be a bit cheaper as you can sell your old card and don't need a new PSU.

(If it was me) I'd get a 780Ti because I always like to try buy what's best and because my PC is a massive interest of mine.

It depends on how much you want to spend, but if you can justify getting the Ti then I'd go for it.

Well I only use the single 1080p monitor, the thought of spending £500 on a gpu does seem a bit ridiculous lol hmmmm, not sure at all haha

Said it yourself then, go for the 780. It's still an amazing card and will play virtually anything on max at 1080p. You can always get a 2nd ;)

You have a point :p Now the question I ask, which 780 do I get ? The Gainward 780 is £379.99 is that the best one to go for ? or is there one with a better cooler ?

I second that. I own one myself and I play games maxxed out on 2560*1440 with no issues. I wish I had gone for a reference 780 as they look sexy compared to my EVGA SC w/ACX.

I think that may be a more personal choice regarding aesthetics; as far as I'm aware all 780 coolers are pretty good (I think, correct me if I'm wrong).

I like watercooling so I would just be getting a reference design. If I was air cooling I'd get one with the reference cooler, it's easily the best looking one (IMO), and it's quiet, and it performs well.

(In fact if I would always just get a 780 with the reference cooler, stick a waterblock on it, and mount that sexy reference cooler on the shelf or something xD)

Im not planning on watercooling anytime soon, air cooling is fine for me just now :D maybe see about watercooling in the summer or something later on next year :) (that is a sexy reference cooler though)
