Simply Blue

Well guys as said I have been modding my pc, to try and get things a bit cooler on water and to try and tidy it up a bit and make it a bit different to what it used to be like, as your see I have used the old silver Armour case of which I posted some pics and have built a bottom case just for the water cooling and extra power supply to run all the fans and lights that I have of which used to put quiet a loot of stress on just the 600w Enermax PSU, I got hold of an old Armor fromt panel with doors from Thermaltake very cheep as it was damaged and cut the doors down and had the welded up to make it look like a complet door I also done the same with the front plastic panel of which I done myself with a hot glue gun and some filler.

I have painted this Electric blue metallic and have put several cots of clear lacquer on top to give lots of depth and sine to the paintwork. And have named this Simply Blue.

As you all know I have been doing some benching while I have been modding the case and from what I have done has improved my scores quiet a bit as I can now run things a bit cooler of which this has helped with over clocking the CPU and GPU of which has given me the best EP-UK scores for the Geforce 6 of which I can overclock them to 475/1175 and for the CPU only 200MHZ short of a world record for my opty 165 of which I got 3075MHZ out of.

Anyway that’s enough waffle hope you all like the pics, I will take some at night time just to show of the UV water pipes and LED’s.

Buy the way sorry for the amount of pics.

wow sacha that is a beast!! And I thought the Hurricane was a monster. Lovely job you've done there though, must be your pride and joy :) I really do like that, it's very self-contained!

NICE work..

not to my particular taste, but a lot of works gone into that :)

whats 3.8*C may i ask ? as it looks like a waterchill cpu block on there, so that means no TECs... j/w

great job... must be tall :D

As an after thought...

what does it look like if you remove the flappy bits ? Theyre what i personally dont like at all about this case, maybe if you used some body filler and rounded the corners off to a curve or something ???

Wow im impressed, the front panel especially brings it all together very nicely!

That case is the first in a while that I really really like from ThermalTake!

Thanks for all your coments guys, it means a lot to me.

as said i would post some pics when it got a bit darker so you can all see the blue led's and uv tubing/lights.

Yes i take on some of your coments regarding the Armor case but i like it as it is a huge case anyway and as you all know with a big case and good airflow gives good temps, also someone asked about the temps being 3.8c, this is the temp withing the watercooling box i made, dont know if it is right or not but with my CPU at 2.6 and 1.31v my CPU temps are aprox 19-21c with no load and 31-32c with full load on both cores, in a room temp of 20-22c, as the case has 9 x 120mm fans and 2 x 80mm fans there is a lot of air moving about, but it not that bad as i have the fans all running at half speed so it is nice and quite.

some more pics of lights.
