Silverstone TJ07 fan setup

Hi there,

I got a TJ07 as in http://www.thetechlounge.com/article/258-3/Silverstone-TJ07-FullTower-Case/

and as far as ive read the two fans on the back suppost to suck air in and the 2 big fans on the top blow the air up and out.

When I got the case the fans were mounted the opposite way round, top blowing down and in, back blowing out. I managed to switch 3 of them, back now blowing in and the one on top nearest the front blowing out, furthest away top fan is still blowing down and in as I cant get to the screws without taking the whole thing apart, removing motherboard, etc.

My question is, will is be worth the hassle to take it all apart and remount the fan blowing the way it is meant to? Will it change the temps all that much?

Cheers.

It's always important to have a good air flow (usually intake on the front and outtake at the back). So I would say its worth it.

so get off your ass and sort it ya lazy... :P

I say keep it the way it is ment to be, air being drawn in from the rear and expelled out the top, as since heat rises it should prove more effective. It is worth moving the mobo to sort this, it is removable anyway :D

I did want to switch this last fan around but I cant get at it and have no idea how to take the mobo out etc. And im not that lazy as Ive done the other 3!!!

there are 6 thumb screws at the rear of the case (not the 4 holding on the side panel) remove these, and unplug any wires going into the mobo from not the mobo (PSU etc) and the motherboard tray SHOULD slide out nicely :D

This will probably not be possible if you watercool though
