The time has come to consider the parts for my new build. Whilst I can't be sure of the components I will be using since I, like many others, are waiting for both Intel and Nvidia to get their acts together and actually release something. Needless to say I'm thinking about a 3930k or 3770k matched with a couple of gpus - 7xxx or 6xx.
In the meantime I know what cooling potential I want and it will include a couple of radiators such as the alphacool monsta. So with that in mind I've set about deciding on fans.
I'm looking for a high pressure fan rather than a high cfm since I'm radiator cooling rather than air cooling. Reading the stats given on websites always seems hit and miss so I've been looking for design. Generally a slow spinner with lots of blades and a choice of LED colours! Also I'm going to be getting a caselabs for this build and I would like something that has the legs to throw air right across what will be quite a large case.
What are people's opinion of the 120mm air penetrator? I've been impressed by the reviews and the smoke demonstration basically gave me a hard on but I would appreciate you advice as always.
