Hi guys,

What are your opinions on the Silverstone 1500W?

Its box says its only VGA-3 and I am in need of VGA-4, but what I can read from its connector list its VGA-4, anyone know if I am right?

Or am I better with the Thermaltake (or possibly the EVGA, if they ever release it)?

As always, cheers in advance

@Mr Strawberry

I am thinking of powering an SRX, Two Quadro 6000 and Two Tesla C2075 (im building a CAD and rendering PC, not gaming PC).

Whole bunch of different hard disks too.

it also has 2x 8 pins for the mb (and a 4 pin i think) and 10!! 8pin pci-e available meaning you could have quintuple sli / x-fire if there was such a thing lol

To be honest, had no idea they even existed.

However they appear to not be "SLI Ready" according to NVIDIA?? Thoughts on this?

Okay by the looks of things this is what I need:

2x 8pin for CPU power on SR-X

2x 6pin for CPU power on SR-X

1x 6pin for MB power on SR-X

1x 24pin for MB power on SR-X

4x 6pin for GPUs

4x 8pin for GPUs

So a total of:

6x 8pin

6x 6pin

1x 24pin

I need to try and avoid Y spliiters as I know they are niot reccomended.

On my quick math of the Enermax, it JUST (to the exact pins) provides enough ability.

If I use the 2 CPU 8 pins

Then use some of the 6+2 Pins and some of the 6, then it should be okay (I think).

Any thoughts guys?

You wount have a problem m8 you can always get a molex to 6pin/8pin adapter which normally come with graphics cards.

Get the platimax 1500w
