In the interest of a completely silent rig can I disconnect the two fans in the prommy case without doing any harm ?????

Also having reached a point now were I am happy with the internals of my setup I now want to put the side panel on but the pipe sticks out rather a lot. How far can I go bending it so it fits inside ????

no no no.. I cant stress that enough - you disable the two fans and you'll damage the unit. You have to keep the compressor cool. Can you just run them at silent?

that would be just asking for trouble..

You might be able to replace them with quiter fans, but I guess phil would know more on that...

its like removing the fan from a cpu heatsink, enen worse...both the compressor wont be cooled and the refridgerant wont be cooled either by the rad ...
