These are the rarest of rare fans. It's a dual motor fan w/ two fans in one and pushed an amazing 220CFM. These are THE hardest fans to get ahold of, what I read on XS is that the last time these were available was over a year ago.

If you really want something unique for air benching this is the fan that you NEED. At $50 a pop they're pricey, but also godlike :)

its loud enough to cause permanent hearing damage when exposed for long periods of time. theres no way you could use this as a 24/7 fan on a heatsink, it would drive u batty.

its the perfect fan for trying to take home some world records on aircooling though :)

Wtf??

wtf.jpg

And $50 for a fan is a rip. However good it is.

actually its not a rip as it comes out at £25 which is pretty decent for the cfm

but 60db that is waaay too loud and it must weigh a lot too which wouldnt be too good for a tower pc with xp-120 which is already a heavy a$$ heatsink:p

that's definitely a fair price for that fan considering its a dual motor mini turbine that can probably lift itself off the ground. I'm thinking about buying onejust to say I have one :p

Put that credit card away frag ;)

i would buy one too just to see how loud it really is and what the flow is like lol

shame they dont ship to uk tho:mad:

i dont see any international shipping in the checkout and they dont list uk in the checkout either:eh:

edit ah i see now you have to email them and pay by paypal, sweet i might just order 1 or 2:p

Also remember that also has a large pressure delta and most of the noise will be from air I think

hopefully is shall be buying one of these beasts to reveiw and i also might have managed to score the single one which is 5db louder for reveiw also:)

i will let you guys know asap

i hope this is ok?,it was a bit of a spare of the moment thing:p

cheers.

Ahaha, it's these things! Should be interesting to see how these come out raging, can't wait.

BTW, the XP-120 is a MOUSE in weight compared to more recent coolers. I mean, 370g? The Big Typhoon, Scythe Ninja, and Tuniq Tower are ALL OVER TWICE that weight. Still a solid heatsink though :)

Do you have a meter to measure CFM?

no i dont but if i get to reveiw these i am doing it purely to see how the cooling performance is and how loud they really are.

thanks wc,i am looking forward to seeing how these fans perform coupled with an xp-120:)

cheers.

the crudest way i can think of measuring airflow at home without buying any high precision glass gas syringes or anything would be pop to a shop, find some really thin binbags, as thin as possible, with the volume stated. then time how long it takes to fill from flat. Obviously it wouldnt be all that accurate but would give you a decent ball-park figure
