Hi Phil.

I see that you have decided to ditch your K8T MB for this one??

I have only got to 228FSB which to be honest is a little dissapointing

Is the AN50R board loads better?

Apparently yes it is, it is the AMD64 board favoured by the guys at xtreme systems. I think it has an AGP/PCI lock which makes this board unique for the time being. Some people have got theirs to 260FSB with a Mach II because of this. Roll on the NF3 250's - according to my source at Driver Heaven these new boards will have the lock we require. I should get mine today with a little bit of luck - I'll get it fired up and report back for sure. I think TC Overclocker on this forum has got one as well, and he has confirmed this also.

Nice one.. Will be very intrested in hearing what you think to this board...

Looks like I will be following suit soon :)

how much did yours cost?

I know.. As soon as they show in socket 939 flavour I'm grabbing one, regardless of the price. I'm saving my pennies now. I reckon £600. I have been really surprised just how far AMD have come since the old days of Thoroughbreds and bad via motherboards.. This 3200 A64 is sweet - even at a lowly unimpressive 220FSB it outperforms my 3.4 @ 4ghz in benchmarks AND games, and that's single channel using 4200 EL DDR, with a fudged XP build, and with beta r420 drivers and a new XT on air. It's pretty remarkable!

given up waiting as well...

so getting a mach II & see what my xp3200 can do (get just over 2.6Ghz with cascade block).. prob need some better memory than the twinmoss 3200 Ive got just now but we will see..

should keep me amused until the 939 fx53 is available..
