Should this be enough

I tried reseating didnt make any noticeable difference how would adding a 120mm 30mm thick rad in as well help or not work the hassle of having to mod the case?

Your temps are only a little high for WC, but they arent that high for the chips themselves.

The rad extra rad will bring them down a few degrees, but more effort than it's worth IMO. I wouldnt be so worried about the temps, and so I'd probably just leave it tbh

oh ok i was going to chuck a 120mm in the back but id have to cut out the panel going across the drive bay in the switch 810 to put the 360mm rad with barbs at the front to do it, so that it would look nice.

So would take some effort and about £40 for all the bits and fittings.

I dunno what other cases would be able to hold even more rad space and have a side window lol.

Looked at martins watercooling guide for my block he used a 480 rad and a 3930k at same volts as me and was getting about 67C for the hottest core, so maybe with my extra heat from the GPU would take it up a few more degrees,

my CPU reaches 72-74C
His reached 67C

Its just a it worrying that when gaming the cpu reaches the same temperature as if you were running prime just because the 2 GPU's dump more heat into the loop, i hope the CPU and GPU's are all never at 100% at the same time lol ill having boiling water. XD

Would be a little project to fit another 120mm 45mm thick rad in the back might drop the temps 2-3C which would maybe bring it down to the 60's, would cost £75 for everything to do it though.

bigger case?!?! WTF?

adding another radiator to the case will not give you any better effect than what you have now.
especially, trying to re-order to make it "cooler" functional and making it not look like a spagetti
factory blew-up in your case.
you've replaced major elements of the system with little or no change to the issue. the conclusion
would be either this is something that was there and just wasn't realized, possible OC is now
too hot, or it is what it is... other than your wallet is lighter.
maybe take the GPU(s) out of the loop, reverify CPU heat and then insert a GPU and watch
to see what the temps do.

aren't there a lot of 810 owners on the forum? not but a few might have a temp issue.
so i wouldn't think you are any different in needing a bigger case?!?!

Well no - if the issue is lack of rad space then in order to keep the OCs, a bigger case would be needed to accommodate a bigger rad.
As there arent exactly any components in his rig that really need upgrading for a few years - that's the only thing I can really think of.

Yea i mean 77C for just playing BF3 is a little too hot. I think it may just be the lack of rad space cause if i disable the second card and play a game temps are quite a bit lower. but part from a bit of modding to be able to fit another 120mm rad there is no more room for rads unless i get a bigger case.

I think i may just mod it to fit a 120mm 45mm thick rad in the back then ill have basically nearly 2, 360mm thick rads then which should be more than enough for this loop.

If that is what airdeano meant, it's been proven to make less than a couple of degrees difference, if that.

Think i may just leave it i have vsync enabled normally for now and temps are a bit lower around 70C +/- 3C.

Only think that worries me is when i get my 2 extra displays for eyefinity the gpu's will come under more load and generate more heat, bit like when vsync is turned off on single display and make the CPU reach 77C, which is only 8C from it throttling which to me is to close for comfort may have to invest in a really big case so i dont keep having this problem.

Just need to find a nice case with plenty of rad support (like 2x 480mm) and a side window and good cable management, know of any?

yea like the MAGNUM STH10 but the ability to cable manage them looks a bit naff no grommeted holes.

If say i changed my rad for 2 480MM rads would i need to add another pump to the loop or would it still be ok my flow rate is greater at the moment but that case it quite a bit bigger so lots more tubing.

I think i may just mod the case then add a 120mm 45mm thick rad in the back that would take me up to nearly 720mm of 60mm thick radage (is that a word lol) which i should be ok with, obviously temps go up at summer and now we are having a small heatwave i think the pc feels it, and i like to keep my fans very low lol.

I think £60 for a mini project with a bit of modding is better than buying a £450 case and another £250 worth of watercooling kit.

When i next get paid ill get the rad and a dremel cutter and mod the case so i can get it to look nice i could put the rad in now but would require some big loops in the tubing which i dont want.

Ive just got to hope that with a 90 degree on the pump output it doesnt hurt the flow rate and it will also line up with the rad fitting above it.
