Should I wait for 4K monitor

Dont supose any of u know of any 1600P or above, 37" to 42", 75hz + TV's out atm or coming out soon ?

My current 42" plasma is great ..but its only 1080p and 60hz which is kinda dated nowerdays.

2560x1600 isn't 16:9, it's 16:10. And they don't make 16:10 TVs any more. 2560x1440 (2.5k) is probably not coming on TVs at all, and if they will, they won't be popular. But 4K (3840x2160) are already on the market for insane price and on sizes that are about double than what you are looking for. I can assume that we'll start seeing 4K goes mainstream in about 3 years on TV, and about 1 to 2 years on monitors...

Smallest 3840x2160 (UltaHD/4kHD) iv seen that is coming out is 55" from a variety of manufacturers like Sony, LG and Sharp.

I find the actual size of the screens kinda silly really. 3840x2160 at 55" is only around 80 PPI..thats nothing special ..infact ..its crap.
For Ultra-HD to matter the bigest u can go at that rez is 42", that will keep u above 100PPI.

I know what its like to have a low PPI..im currently running a 42" 1080p Screen which is 52 PPI. It was ok when i bought it but compared to the 1440 and 1600p Monitors u can get for PC's(which are 100 PPI+) its obismal.

Gunna have to wait a good handfull of years for Ultra -HD to filter down to the 'smaller' sizes.Rremember when 1080p was released, it was next to impossible to find a 32" TV at 1080p ..they were all 720.

So sad how slowly the Tech is moving nowerdays :(
