Should I Go Back to a Dual Monitor Setup

I agree that 1440 is the sweet spot for resolution at 27" and above. I still think 1080 is fine for 27 and below though. I've got a 27" 1080 screen and sometimes think about upgrading but mine looks great and I do like the easier load on my GPU which means higher framerates. I wouldn't go 1080 on anything bigger than 27" tho. I can see some jaggies on some text now but I have to specifically be looking for them tho. On a screen bigger than 27 I'm sure they would be a whole lot more obvious.

Most RMAs are people who don't know the difference between backlight bleed, and IPS glow. First one is bad, and the second is just the characteristic of IPS panels.

If you want to know more about monitors go to tftcentral.co.uk or some other similar site. Those guys use some properly expensive equipment to test them.

They also provide (in my opinion) the best colour correction profiles around for monitors.

Yeah a 27 inch 1080p is an option, Maybe.

That's good to know that they offer colour profiles.

Thanks all

I'm stuck and don't know what to do now.

I still want two 27 inch monitors but i feel like i'm not going to get a 27 inch 144Hz 1440p in the price range i want, Does it make me a cheapskate for feeling that namely G-sync panels are over priced.

I do have another option where i could go with Freesync which is cheaper and just not get the benefit of the extra stuff but still have a 1440p 144Hz monitor.

But i have seen some horror stories on different forums with both ASUS & ACER monitors, People have problems with these monitors they're going to be the loudest with the complaining.

But there is another option again which is the Dell 27 inch 1440p 144Hz but it's a TN panel which atm it's $779 on the Dell website, When i was checking up on the Dell i was seeming people in the US saying i got mine for like $350.00 during their sales.

I'm just really disappointed atm cause i just can't find the a good price for the monitors that i want :(

Yes they are overpriced but there are not many choices. It is what it is. Prices have bean steady for a long time regarding 1400p G-Sync monitors, with exception of few sales here and there. If i were buying for myself i would w8 until i have enough money for the setup i needed. Having to put up with current setup knowing that i will upgrade only a bit latter is way better that upgrading now and not getting what i want/need and having to live with the wrong choice.

Well i do have enough money too cover the monitor but i wanted to get two monitors, I guess what i could do is get one now and extra money that is left over put it aside and try and sell this 32 inch monitor if i can sell it maybe i might have enough money for the 2nd monitor.

I could just get a standard 144Hz monitor something from Benq since standard 144Hz is cheaper than both Freesync & Gsync.
