Should I upgrade to 970?

I'm building a new PC, it's so nearly done, and I bought a gainward 4gb 770 for gaming, but the new 970 looks to drastically out perform it.
Two questions:
Will the 700 series support dx12
should I upgrade to the 970 when it comes out or just sli my 770?

Umm I literally have only took it out. I could do that. What will be the price difference between the 770 and 970 though, I could ask the guy on ebay (pretty cool guy) if I could send him back the 770 and give him whatever difference in price it is for a 970.

they start at around 260 pounds on scan
msi gaming is 280 and the asus strix 300
not sure where you are from so just went with that

WOW that's pretty cheap. Got my 770 for about 230 so yeah. Thanks for the info and help.
