Shadowplay recording

Hi guys,

I have a question when it comes to recording gameplay using Shadowplay.

I just did a good session of Arma 3 on 3CB's public realism server and I thought it'd be fun to record wat happened. The server uses Teamspeak with a plugin for added realism. I've set my TS up to work with voice activation rather than using a ptt.

Recording went flawless with Shadowplay, 1440p footage at 60fps is wicked. It picked up all the incoming sound from TS as well, so all the radio chatter was recorded. However, it did not pick up my own voice, so only 50% of the radio chatter is audible.

I know there's an option with Shadowplay to record your mic as well, but this option records it constantly instead of only picking up sound when you're talking or pressing the ptt. This results in sometimes breathing being recorded or even keystrokes from my mechanical keyboard being recorded, taking away part of the realism in the video that I'm after.

Do any of you guys know a fix for this or do you instead suggest another application when it comes to recording, which has better support for recording your own voice?

Cheers!

It's a common issue, all I can suggest is that you can use ts3 itself to record that side of things and combine the audio steams in a post editing software package. The problem is that teamspeak is what recognises the ptt. It transmits when you press rather than activates your mic when pressing to talk.

you can set it up so you hear your self speak by setting it in your recording devices options..
But that will become annoying very fast.

Yh shambles that extremely annoying because it has a slight delay, I always instantly stop talking if I hear myself xd

you can define what inputs to record in Shadowplay, i've done it, but you can't use GFE to record it, i used MSI Afterburner and the Shadowplay Codec.
