Those blue lights do a good job camoflaging the d-14 ugliness, the horrible brown becomes purple

those fans look EPIC to me

why do all of you hate the coulors... as long as it's doing a good job cooling and being quiet, it dosen't matter how it looks like

You ain't got no white mushkin ram son! haha only joking, looks seriously good man. However not a big fan of LEDs seems a bit to much for my liking.

Looks very nice, can you do me a big favour and block off the top fan, put the side panel on, overclock to 4GHz and tell me what are the core temps after 20 mins of prime95? Also only using the middle 140mm fan on the D14 might be closer to what I'm imagining right now...

I'm looking for a new cooler to put in my R3, and I'm not sure how much better a D14 will be.

I'll try. But the 140mm fan wont be blowing enough air coz of the filter.

Can anyone tell me what port should i put my C300 ssd?

Here is the benchmark from CrystalDiskMark:

ICH10R port 0 - 280+ seq. read - pretty sure w/ TRIM

Sata6gb port 0 - 360+ seq. read - i think no TRIM

Is w/ TRIM better?

It's not so much the d-14 itself, but that there is absoloutely nothing that goes with it. It looks completely out of place. However i agree with you that for the performance and silence, as long as you keep your side panel on it doesn't really matter. Ftr i actually would love a brown and navy themed rig... hmmm... custom.... ain't got me no paint or space though

Use the ICH10R port, even if the seq. speed is lower, it will provide better speeds when it comes to small files, random reads/writes and TRIM will help write speeds when the drive gets a fair share of abuse...

Sequencial speeds are what the marketing departments want you to think about, but the actual performance comes from random operations.

Wow that looks amazing, but the LEDs don't shine through because of the side panel though. XD Unless you show it to use closed?
