Sempron 2400+ Overclocking help?

Hello OC3D,

So today I was like: "I have had enough, I want to overclock my Sempron 2400+".

But I have Prime95 running for half an hour now, and the temperatures are at chilling out between 58'Celcius and 62'Celcius (Most of the time at 59'Celcius). Even though I'm only on stock cooling, aren't those temps a bit high?

I may have to clean the inside out anyway

Any thoughts/suggestions?

My motherboard is the GIGABYTE 7VT600-RZ

The software I'm using to monitor the temps is: Aida64. Is this program accurate?

Set at 1,70GHZ. Had prime95 running for half an hour and it was still sitting nice at 60'Celcius. I'm leaving it with this

The threshold maybe 90, I think the mobo may even cut out at 80, but iirc they don't like 65+.

It's been a while, but I seem to remember 2.4g and 65 degrees for Athlon/Sempron under wussy cooler conditions.

After running prime for 1,5 hour, the temp starts going up a little bit. now goes between 60*C~63*C Mostly 60*C~62*C. an average of 61.6*C At the moment.
