Seal string. How to clean it?

Do you guys know a way to remove the seal string from the kits/motherboard and also from my carpet!! I just can't remove all those little dried bits all over !

i find on the motherboard itll always just peel off, i think my carpets done for though

pure alchahol mate always does the trick will be available from ure chemist .no probs for me though i got wood floor lol

To remove the sealstring its very simple. You take the old sealstring and roll on the other parts of you motherboard,cpu kit where the pieces are.

Some IPA (which you can get from the chemists for absurdly cheap prices) will do the trick as mentioned above.

Like Macci said, seal string is like blue tac. All I do is take the old seal string that I just removed and dab it over the small bits. Everything comes out easily

I tried buying some last month, the chemist must have thought i was type of urban terrorist and said it wasn't available to the public!!!

Next chemist said they didn't stock it anymore. So is this available to still buy or not?

As concerns buying it search for it on http://www.chemfinder.com/. It seems it's just basic disinfectant / rubbing alcohol. Try something like dettol as it probably contains your isopropyl alcohol.
