s=duplicolor sparypaint help

hi everyone. need some help cant seem to find a retailer on googgle serch wher i could i could get the duplicolor spray-paints, in the uk.

also could you recommend some brands of spray paint which have personally used and can vouch for.

im going to spar my cosmos 2 case so ill be needing self etch primer, premium sand able primer, enamel paint, clear coat which all should be compatibly with each other.

plz guys ive been searching for weeks i even contacted dupilcoclour via email but had no luck with reply yet.

my whole project is on hold cause i cant paint the case.

also could you point me towards a store/ retailer where i can buy arcylic for cheap.

Etch primer should only be used on the alu doors.

You should really use etch - normal primer - then the colour

You need plastic primer for the plastic.

You really need to do some more research, doesnt matter if you use epic paint, if you do a shit job with it it will look shit.

Just go to a body shop supply place and buy pro paints and get them to mix up custom colour cans for you.

It will still look crap unless you put a HUGE amount of time in on prep and finish though.

The final product will only look as good as the effort put in.

Trust me I know all too well.

thanks for the reply done a lot of research of prep techniques.

im going to use the etch primer on the side panels and interior, but for the plastic i could use either normal primer or krylon fusion plastic primer.

my first concerns were that if i use two different primers from different brands duplicolor and krylon and use duplicolor enamel paint on top would cause a comaptabily issue.

i found out later that i could use a normal premium primer for plastic so i decided to go with duplicolor brand, so etch, premium sand-able primer and enamel spray paint and clear coat and 3m compound.


update just found a paint store in my local area who make custom primers and enamel paint and clear coat.

question is the paint going to look different on top of different primers -etch- premium sand able primer and plastic primer?.

update just found a paint store in my local area who make custom primers and enamel paint and clear coat.

ask them if they can paint your case... saves you all the work + you can be sure its done properly!
