Rubbish Quality with Asus DX and Image One Cans

Sorry it was a bore... It wasn't intentional. Just wanted to know how you set up your cans with the card to make it sound good and not distorted.

Are you using the front IO? Reason being is that the front IO on the the Xonar cards sometimes does not work correctly.

Do you have the mini Molex plugged in? Common thing to forget Also read below

Sometimes the Mini Molex wiggles around and causes distortion, in which case just use some super glue and tightly glue that sucker in there. (this is what I did)

Front IO works fine, it was the back panel that had the issue.

It was because of the built in mic, the actual cans weren't splitting the sound correctly. It was an odd thing I can't really describe exactly what I was hearing but it was like the vocals were turned down and only the one side had some music (also pretty low volume) playing but quite distorted and boomy.

Anywho, it's all sorted now thanks to the previous suggestion with the female 3.5mm -> 2x male 3.5mm cable to split the mic and headphone jacks up.
