ROG build in the works

It still needs a lot of work, so don't be too critical. I still need some more acrylic sheet, and need to get the back end soda blasted and repainted. You'll see what I mean when looking at the pics. This is my first attempt at modding, and....well....I went a little crazy with it.

EDIT: System specs
i7-3770k @ 4.2 / 1.140v for 24/7 use
ASUS Maximus V Formula
EVGA GTX 670 ftw 2GB
16GB GSkill Sniper 2400
1xKingston Hyper X 3k 120GB
1xWD 500GB Black
Ultra X4 1050 watt PSU
Fractal Design Define XL r2
XSPC RS 120.2
XSPC EX 120.3 crossflow
Dual D5 pumps with bitspower mod top and 250mm res
Bitspower power station

Gotta do something different with cabling:

Will find a better place to mount this when all is said and done, but for now, this works:

The right idea, I think...I need to build something for the PSU and cables though. I'm thinking an acrylic enclosure:

The part you actually get to see without panels removed:

All closed up:

The big window:

Any suggestions for cable routing?

Id say you need to do your hose too tbh - putting a rad between your gpu and cpu is pretty pointless - I understand why you THINK its good but its actually doing nothing but making it look untidy.

Also dual pumps in this rig is really just making extra noise you dont need - Ive got a D5 in Orca running at 2 (2of 5) so you deffo dont need those pumps in your loop.

Second I had hoped it was 2 cases the same - the second to last pic is a bit of a let down :(

It's temporary...I'm building a homemade case to house it all. Pics will be up soon. 2 of the same case would look pretty sweet though......hmmm.

The dual D5 pumps are there for:
1. Looks. I like it
2. Safety...if one dies, the other keeps on truckin
3. The noise isn't an issue...with all those fans going, I don't hear the pumps at all anyway

I've thought about the radiator between the CPU and GPU a lot. I ran it both ways. And with the CPU right after the GPU the temps were up a little bit higher. Not a lot, but it was measurable. A couple degrees c even at idle. I know it's not a lot, but every little bit helps. Couple this with the fact that if I change anything in the system, which I do a lot of, then having the option to move stuff around, without having to tear the whole loop apart is pretty handy. It was done more for this reason, than anything.

IMHO watercooling is all about looks mate - get that right and the rest is minimal. I have 12 SP120's in Orca and its one of the quietest rigs Ive ever built still.

No excuses for fan noise in a watercooled rig thats spec'd right.....

This is all advise btw - but Ive been doing this a long time and tested all the variables. Looking right for the majority of us is the most important thing. ATM with the hosing yours just looks untidy which then also makes most of us think inexperienced

I chose watercooling because I couldn't get the clock I wanted and keep the temps where I was comfortable with them, even with an aftermarket air cooler. So, no....it's not all about looks. I want functionality too. I had thought about using acrylic tubing, but then, again, any time I want to make a change, then it's a complete rebuild. As much as I change things, this is a much better option for me.

Different strokes.

After read the thread, im happy you like it, and its a build i would do if i were to start on water cooling also probably, but i can understand all of TTL's suggestions when i see all the pro's posts. Its about Making it looking Stylish, Clean and efficient.
Only really bad thing from my point of view is the 2 cases used to run 1 comp.. besides that i would call it a really decent starter build.
EDIT: what case is the big one ? i simply love that huge window
