Grand Theft Auto IV, scheduled for an October 16 release, will be offered as a regular video game as well as, for some extra cash, as a "Special Edition" in a "customized metal safety box."

For those gamers who expect more than just a game in a standard box, Rockstar Games will be offering the Special Edition GTA IV in a nice box and a few extra goodies. The custom metal custom will be available for games for the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 and contain an Art Book with "never-before-seen production artwork," the GTA IV soundtrack CD, a Rockstar keychain for the safety deposit box keys and a "limited edition Rockstar duffel bag." The company promises that "all of the items have been created with the utmost attention to detail."

It will sell as Bragging rights seems to be a force of motivation for gamers and geeks but will it be worth the $90 asking price?

Have any details been released on the games content yet?

They always make them bigger and better and I'm waiting with anticipation as to what this version will bring!

cant wait for the game, but i dont want all the crap with it

all i want is the disk, hell, dont even want the book tbh...

only want the box to keep it safe.....

they should do a minimalist version too, just the disk, and somthing small to keep it safe :D

or an official torrent w/ bandwidth behind it and a cd-key

yeh, or that :D ...if that would work for consoles

then they could charge like 25 quid or somthing for it, and loads of people would buy it :D

I Rele cannot see why they shdn have it .... or a direct dl via XBL etc -- but its not as cost effective (on consoles sneak a torrent disto system .. take 80% of the up bandwidth)
